Guidelines

To protect the privacy of our guests while using The Boutique Wellness Spa we limit the number of guests we tour through our facility. As we are inundated with requests, please know the following criteria apply to all our guests: An appointment should be made for Hotel guests’ and the general public wishing to enter the Spa.

APPROPRIATE ARRIVAL TIME

lotus1We kindly ask that you arrive at least 20 minutes before your treatment time, to complete a consultation/health questionnaire and familiarise yourself with the spa environment. If you are running late for an appointment, a courtesy call would be greatly appreciated. Where possible we will try to ensure full treatment time but to accommodate the next guest, your treatment, time may be reduced if arriving late.

WHEN ARRIVING

You will be welcomed at reception and asked to fill in a Consultation/health questionnaire, if not done so already. If you would like to fill this in, prior to your arrival, please contact the Spa reception who will have one sent to your room. Please allow reasonable time to this service.

TO PRESERVE THE BOUTIQUE WELLNESS SPA S TRANQUILITY

In consideration to all guests, please speak softly throughout the spa, for others like your self are relaxing during their treatment. Also, please turn off cellular mobile phones and pagers and keep them in your locker. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse services to anyone for the protection of our clients and staff.

CHILDREN

To maintain our serene atmosphere, and for the comfort, peace and relaxation of all guests, we ask that you do not bring children to the spa. We therefore ask that you make babysitting arrangements prior to your visit so you can enjoy the spa without your little ones.

WHAT TO WEAR

Mohom Poultice

We will provide complimentary towels, a robe, disposable underwear and a pair of slippers while you are visiting the BOUTIQUE WELLNESS SPA. These will be handed to you at reception. Suitable foot wear and workout attire must be worn in the fitness suite at all times. During any of the spa treatments, it is recommended that you experience body services without clothing. Our therapists are professionally trained and all will ensure a level of comfort and professionalism, by appropriately draping areas of the body that are not a focus of the treatment. We require that swimming attire be worn in The Thermal Suite. i.e. Sauna and steam room facilities. Nudity is strictly forbidden. Please also familiarise yourself with our Contraindications.

 

 

 

STORING VALUBLES

Lockers are available for storing valuables. We suggest you do not bring any valuables into the spa that you do not feel you will need. No jewellery to be worn when having any treatments. THE BOUTIQUE WELLNESS SPA is not responsible for lost valuables or damage however caused..

TREATMENT CHOICE

Our full list of treatments can be found on our website or our Spa Brochure can be sent to you in the post or emailed when requested. If you would like assistance choosing a service, we recommend calling and speaking to one of our knowledgeable staff members.

  • We advise you to shower before all body treatments.
  • Patch tests are required before first eyelash, brow tints & Waxing.
  • Allow 12 hours after any heat treatment before waxing and 72 hours after any cosmetic surgery procedures including Botox.
  • Please note that all treatments and spa packages are subject to medical status and there are contra-indications deemed inadvisable.  Contraindications – are measures preventing a Spa guests from receiving any treatment unless with written consent from your Medical GP or Specialist Physician.
  • Contraindications are there for your health and safety along with that of your therapist.

PRICES & GRATUITIES

All prices, treatments and information are current at the time of distribution and are subject to revision without notice. All prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax. Gratuities are therefore left to your discretion

INSURANCE

For residential guests: we recommend that you consider purchasing holiday insurance, which amongst other things provides cover in the event of a cancellation or curtailment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

teaIf you need to change or cancel an appointment, six hours’ notice is required to allow us to reschedule your booking. All cancellations made within 24 hours prior to the appointment, a 100% fee charge will be incurred to the details used to secure your booking if this is not adhered to.

PRODUCT RANGE

The Boutique Wellness Spa prides itself on the high caliber of treatments we provide. For the continuation of your treatment in the comfort of your own home we offer a range of fabulous products. Our therapists are highly trained and knowledgeable and can advise you on your choices.

OPENING HOURS:

The Boutique Wellness Spa is open daily from: 8:00am to 9:00 pm,

Spa Treatments are available from Monday – Saturday 9:45 am to 6.00 pm (last appointment at 5.30pm) and Sundays 10.00 am– 16.00 pm (last appointment at 3:00pm)

*Hotel reserves the right to alter time schedule, according to the season, without any prior notification.

MINIMUM AGE

Guests must be at least 18 years of age and in the very best of health to experience any of our spa treatments.

ECO-AWARENESS

Being respectful of your environment is part of the spa experience. Use only the number of towels necessary: washing them uses water and electrical, which are limited resources in some communities. No food to be consumed whilst in the THE BOUTIQUE WELLNESS SPA AND FITNESS SUITE.

Please ensure no rubbish / trash is left behind.
